Moose Apple Christmas Tree Farm is open every weekend in October and November for tagging trees, picnicking, shopping and just plain visiting. Shop early for the best selection. Hours are from 10 am – 4 pm Saturday and Sunday. There are many new things to see in the shop including: handmade hardwood bowls from Floyd, Va, Chesapeake Bay collectibles and many, many more beautiful and unique items.
Schedule for Cutting Trees, Starting November 25th, the farm will be open 4 days a week for cutting trees. They will be closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but open the rest of the week. The Farm Closes for the season on December 18th. Hours during the cutting season are 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Thursday through Sunday.
Chilly Hollow Christmas Tree Farm is open the weekend of October 22nd and 23rd for clients to come out and reserve their trees. We hope they also check out our Raspberry Jelly, Raspberry Syrup and Maple Syrup that is made on the farm. If this weekend is not convenient please contact Alex or Susan to plan a time that is convenient to tag and reserve your tree.
Regular hours of operation during the Christmas season starts the Friday after Thanksgiving and goes until Christmas or when the farm is out of trees. There are a variety of sizes, including trees up to 10 feet tall. Large trees sell out early, so please reserving your tree as soon as possible is highly recommended.
